Salvador Miranda is a Mexican-Canadian artist and filmmaker. His debut 2-channel film, This is my land... (19), premiered at IFFR. His film installation, Life Eternal (22), premiered at Kasseler Dokfest, received a nomination for the 2022 Golden Cube Prize, and won the 2024 Hertzog da Silva Award. His documentary short, Promised Land (23), also premiered at IFFR. Salvador is an alumnus of the TIFF Director's Lab, Torino Film Lab, Kunstinstituut Melly's Parallel Curriculum and holds an MFA in Lens-Based Media from the Piet Zwart Institute. He is the co-founder of Rotterdam's FilmDak platform, a rendezvous platform for film, video art, and moving image makers.
